Another (boring) RED Annoucement
I dunno what to think… Two weeks after the BIG announcement, RED has yet posted another announcement.
It’s not that it’s uninteresting, just that it’s more vaporware and pretty image renderings. In one word, dull…
I don’t see the point in making such a big fuss about detailing the trading option plan and new images, that’s why there is a forum, post news and info right? Why building the suspense a week in advance saying “BIG change” coming up…
Anyways, the good news is that the camera kit with a decent small sensor (3K Scarlet = 4.9MP @120 fps) and lens would be around $3,750. This is more expensive than a Nikon D90 or Canon 5D MkII for a smaller MP but video quality should be much better.
