DXOMark - The Digital Camera Database

November 28th, 2008 by Xof

DPReview has been trying to do this for years! Find an objective way to measure a camera’s image quality and in each of their in depth review, there is always a section of weird photos of weird panels with weird lines, bottle of wine, coins and what not. Shadow Photography and Chalk

November 28th, 2008 by Xof

Michael Neff likes to photograph chalk-outlined shadows at night… Tho is project is called “Chalk“, the art is the photograph of course, not the chalk as some might have thought ha!

“I know this has been done before and that there are a few great examples on the internet but what sets Neffís pieces above the others, in my opinion, is that the finished photo seems to be the art and not the actual piece thatís been photographed.”

Prints are available for purchase which is good to know with the holliday season coming up!

Photoshop Mishaps - The More the Merrier

November 27th, 2008 by Xof

Photoshop mishaps crack me up! Especially when big company names like VS are the victims of an incompetent over zealous graphic designer!

But even people on Craigslist can be victim of a photoshop disaster, always a good time but don’t fall for it!

If you find some cool (dare I say sexy) mishaps, make sure to drop a line!
