Airbus A380 Cockpit in QTVR

January 29th, 2008 by Xof

A380

airbus_a380_blue_sky.jpgGilles Vidal is giving us an amazing 360° photo montage, thanks to the QuickTime VR technology, of Airbus new A380’s cockpit (aka the flight deck) and it’s mind blowing!

As you can see, it’s not exactly First Class comfort in there tho I am sure the Pilots’ seats must be very comfortable.

The entire flight deck is “fly-by-wire”, displays height 6×8-inch LCD displays and has QWERTY keyboards and trackballs…

The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, four-engine airliner manufactured by Airbus and is the largest passenger airliner in the world.

The A380 goes by the nickname SuperJumbo and I am sure you’ll understand why!
