Death of a Photographer
Police are cracking down on the protest and protesters in Myanmar resulting in several injured and even the death of a Japanese photographer.
He was lying injured on the ground when a soldier got closer and shot him before moving on… Three others were killed on the spot, bringing the number of deaths to nince so far.
In 1988, over 3,000 people were killed during the uprising. Nine years later, monks initiated a peaceful protest, inspiring rally from all over the country.
But yet again, the military was used to silence the protesters and restore “calm”. A tragedy is happening in front of our eyes and unfortunately, our leaders are not doing what needs to be done to prevent another massacre from happening.
