F**k Microsoft Office!
Michael Robertson (Linspire) has announced ajaxWrite, an online word processor.
All you need is an Internet browser (at the moment Firefox 1.5), files can be saved as Microsoft Office Word format, as well as other formats.
It has been rumored Google has been looking into something like this, but it seems the Web 2.0 revolution as already begun without them.
This is an awesome alternative if one doesn’t have access to their computer which has Word installed, or for those who don’t use applications like Office much.
Michael Robertson hasn’t stopped there, he has also announced other new Ajax applications and has launched ajaxLaunch.com.
